Discovering our local beach...

Shorncliffe Pier
I was looking forward to doing some exploring so when the day finally cleared up after a drizzly morning, we set off to our local beach, Shorncliffe Beach. We've been living in Brisbane for over 4 months and believe it or not, I haven't seen any sand or water. So I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I had a nice looking beach with a great pier only 20 minutes away! There was good crowd and even a few weddings so we managed to take some great photos.

Perfect day for a walk with the dogs

The beach weddings...

The beautiful bride in her gorgeous dress...

Couldn't help but take a few photos of the flower girls with their little pretty dresses.

And she danced like no-one was looking.....

"Beauty, Courage, determination, pride...that's what little girls are made of..."

This couple was just too cute. It was the picture perfect moment when they walked hand in hand towards the water.

“Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone.”
